The Gia’s Grub Story

My name is Skyler and that brindle fur baby was Gia.

Gia came into my life when she was just a puppy. I knew she was special but I could never have anticipated how she would turn me into a pet food entrepreneur.

I instantly fell in love with her beautiful soul! We were playing and creating lasting memories together. Then one day she couldn’t walk at just 1 year old which foreshadowed a medical mystery to come.

In 2013, naturally, I made a commitment that I would do anything to save her. After a full year of monthly vet visits, prescription medications & kibble diets, Gia was only getting worse. This young pup was no longer able to walk without assistance at just 1 year old. That was when the switch to a gently cooked diet consisting of human-grade ingredients was made.

I suspected that her diet would be closely linked to her health, just like humans. After weeks of research into whole food ingredients that would decrease inflammation and increase energy levels, I came upon a formulation that really worked for Gia. The results were instant and obvious. Gia not only started walking again but started running! She was running so fast, I could barely keep up! Her coat was shiny again too but most importantly, she was very happy to be healthy again! We went on to spend an additional five years together when the vet originally said there that was nothing that could be done for her. Imagine what might have happened if I had not believed something better was possible!

I would have missed out on excited tail wags, endearing kisses, and unconditional love from a happy pup. (Pretty much everything that matters in life as a pawrent!) That is why I am on a mission to help dogs live better, longer lives through quality nutrition so that you can have as many years with your fur baby as possible.
